Our Vineyards

In the middle of our winemaking philosophy terroir is the most important. Our goal is utilising all givens of our land by using traditional viniculture methods.  Our aim is reinterpreting the Egri Bikavér and the Eger wine character which is a demand of conscientious and consistent viniculture and wine-making work.

We pay attention of our vineyards possessing different givens. We wish to exploit all givens received by the soil and climate. The vinicultural and historic traditions were take into consideration at choosing the best grape varieties.

Cultivation method on our vineyards are low – cordone and Guyot. During cultivation we stand for full grape ripening in favour of rich taste. Our vineyards located in Egerszalók, Egerszólát, Demjén and in Eger. Here is a list of the crues.

Egerszalók

Magyalos (2,9 ha)

Location: East – South – East

Varieties: merlot, kékfrankos, kadarka, nebbiolo

Kovászó (0,3 ha)

Location: top of the hill, North

Variety: chardonnay

Demjén

Hangács (18,8 ha)

Location: varied

Varieties: sauvignon blanc, pinot blanc, leányka, pinot noir, turán, kékfrankos, merlot, cabernet franc, menoir

Egerszólát

Boldogságos (3,8 ha)         

Location: South

Varieties: olaszrizling, pinot gris, viognier, sauvignon blanc

Eger

Location : East

Variety: pinot noir
